About Martin
personal trainer & nutrition coach
Martin Roberge – My Story
With a lifelong passion for coaching, I discovered my calling early on by guiding the junior football team in high school. Fueled by a desire to support others, I pursued a degree in psychology, aiming to assist individuals in overcoming life’s challenges. My journey led me to a remarkable 20-year career in karate, culminating in a World Championship title in 2015. During this time, I not only honed my physical prowess but also shared my knowledge by assisting in teaching classes.
In my 15-year stint in mental health, I realized the significance of the pillars of well-being—sleep, diet, and exercise. Having experienced the transformative power of exercise in my own life, I recognized its untapped potential in mental health. Despite my counseling expertise, I lacked the certification to address the nutritional and training aspects, leaving a crucial gap in holistic health.
In 2020, I seized the opportunity to bridge that gap by becoming a certified personal trainer and sport performance and fitness nutrition specialist. Now, armed with comprehensive knowledge, my mission is to empower individuals to champion their health, drawing from my rich background to guide them toward newfound well-being and unparalleled heights of personal achievement.
Why Work With Me?
About My Training Approach
With a background in psychology and 15 years as a mental health counselor, I bring a unique, solution-focused approach to fitness, grounded in behavior modification principles. Since graduating from Infofit in 2020 and earning multiple certifications, I’ve blended diverse training methods like Animal Flow, Qigong, Mace Flow, Indian clubs, and traditional strength training with barbells and machines. This combination keeps workouts fresh, challenging, and motivating.
Tailored for You
I start with a comprehensive postural and functional movement assessment to identify muscle imbalances and key areas for improvement. From there, I design personalized programs that align with your goals, needs, and movement patterns, ensuring both optimal performance and progress.
Results That Matter
Clients who train with me experience improved posture, increased strength and endurance, enhanced mobility, reduced pain, decreased body fat, and improved mental health—all achieved through sustainable, enjoyable practices.
My Coaching Philosophy
Your safety and well-being come first. I reject outdated “no pain, no gain” mindsets, focusing instead on empowering workouts that energize rather than exhaust. I believe fitness should be fun, accessible, and sustainable. My goal is to help you build lasting habits and realistic results that you can maintain for a lifetime.
